» Nothing Is Off-Limits For Prayer

I've been spending my holidays reading books, besides attending interviews all around the places. And I came across this very interesting story from Dr Haggai's book, "How To Win Over Worry".
"One day my father was replacing a burned-out bulb in the taillight if our old car. While replacing the lens he noticed he had lost a little screw in the tall grass. He had an urgent appointment that night and not much time to spare. He searched and searched for the little screw, but to no avail.
My younger brother, Tom, then five or six years old, was playing next door with a friend. Finally Dad called him and his friend over to help find the screw. When Dad told them what he wanted, Tom asked, "Have you prayed about it?"
My father replied, " No, I haven't, Tom."Tom said, "Well let's pray, Daddy."
Tom then prayed the following lines: "Heavenly Father, Daddy has lost the screw that he needs for the car. He can't find it and he needs it badly. Help us to find it. Thank you, Jesus. Amen."
Believe it or not, as soon as Tom finished his prayer, Dad put his hand down in the grass and retrieved the screw. Coincidence? Not at all! It was a distinct answer to prayer."
This little story really struck me, and it caused me to think about it over and over again. I've been praying to God for years, asking for a lot of different things. But sometimes I just assumed that somethings are too small, too insignificant to God, and thus decided not to pray about it.
But this Tom really reminded me that nothing is too big or too small for our almighty Father in heaven. He cares even for the smallest of our needs. If you are anxious about the smallest matter in your life, just pray about this very thing that has been bothering you.
I once had a friend who really commit every single worries and problems she faced to God through prayers. Despite being a new christian, she never fail to open my eyes and teach me what Faith really means.
On the other hand, anything big enough to worry is big enough to pray about.That's what I've been doing. Come to the Lord in prayer, and "cast" whatever things that is burdening me unto Him, and yet still feeling anxious about them. I guess its time to really learn to leave it entirely to Him, through prayers.
